BA in Art History at the University of Porto (Portugal), finished in 2006. Erasmus Fellow at the University of Siena, Italy, where he took advantage to study art criticism and melodrama, traveling across Italy. Traveling, more than mere entertainment, is a critical element for his understanding of contemporary societies, their past, their culture and their art: Spain, France, United Kingdom, Czech Republic, Greece, Japan and the United States are some of these examples.


After working as a researcher in plastic and scenic arts at Teatro Nacional S. João (Oporto) and founding his own company of cultural events, won a scholarship (FCT) that would take him to work at the Centre for Theatre Studies, University of Lisbon, where he improved his appetencies in theatre history, theatre architecture and theatre iconography.

He is currently developing his PhD (FCT scholarship) with the theme "History of Oporto's theatre district: nineteenth and twentieth centuries" and holds his position as Research Associate at Centre for Theatre Studies.

He speaks English, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese fluently and is avaliable to work worldwide.
